Welcome to Circus Dog Training!
At Circus Dog Training, we believe that every dog has the potential to be a well-mannered, confident companion — and every owner deserves the tools to help them succeed. Our training philosophy focuses on strengthening the bond between dogs and their people through proven, positive reinforcement methods designed to build trust, communication, and real-world reliability.
Life with a dog can sometimes feel like a three-ring circus — full of excitement, unpredictability, and growth. We're here to help you embrace the adventure by creating structure, encouraging progress, and celebrating success along the way.
Building COnfident dogs
and empowered owners
At the heart of Circus Dog Training are four guiding principles:
Positive Reinforcement: We focus on rewarding desirable behavior to create eager, confident learners. Our training environment is built on encouragement and trust, never fear or punishment.
Custom Training Plans: Every dog — and every household — is different. We tailor each training plan to fit your dog’s unique needs and your goals, whether that's basic obedience, behavioral modification, or advanced off-leash reliability.
Off-Leash Freedom, When Ready: We specialize in building strong recall and off-leash skills for dogs who are ready for that level of freedom. While we do offer e-collar training and in-ground fencing solutions for owners who choose them, e-collar use is never required. We work with you to find the right tools and techniques for your dog’s success.
Strengthening Relationships: True training success comes from building a deeper connection. We focus on teaching owners how to understand their dogs better, communicate clearly, and create a relationship based on mutual respect.
We meet you where you are — offering in-home training, real-world practice sessions, and clear, hands-on coaching every step of the way.
Our approach
Inspired By
Circus and Sideshow
Our company’s namesake, Circus, reminds us daily of the incredible transformation possible through patience, training, and unconditional love. Once a stray facing enormous challenges, Circus became a confident, joyful companion through positive reinforcement and dedication.
Following in his pawprints, Sideshow is the newest member of our team — full of enthusiasm, curiosity, and spirit. Both Circus and Sideshow embody the core values we bring to every training session: resilience, growth, and the joy that comes from a strong partnership between dog and owner.
Their journeys inspire us to help every dog find their own path to success.
